The Traveler's Well

While The Travelerís Well is focused on the journey of the soul as perceived through the lens of astrology, it was founded on the principles of yoga philosophy as taught to me by my Gurudev, Swami Rama of the Himalayas and Swami Veda Bharati, his disciple and my direct teacher.  As you explore the quotes from these two wonderful souls, you will see how their insights form the foundation of The Travelerís Well.

When successful, my work is a reflection of their love and wisdom.

Swami Rama of the Himalayas

Swami Rama

"The most ancient traveler in the universe is love." 1

"Life is a manuscript, and the author of that manuscript is that which you are.  ...The beginning and the ending of this manuscript are missing.  You do not consciously know from where you have come; you do not know where you will go." 4

Swami Rama

"Why are the Sun, Moon and stars constantly on the move?

If you know the purpose of their movement,

then move in harmony with them.

If you do not know, move in harmony with them still.

For by doing so,

one day you will know the purpose." 2

"You are the architect of your life

and you decide your destiny."5

Swami Rama

"Karma means that you are responsible,

you determine your circumstances.

You are the architect of your present situation,

 and past, and future.

It is not meant to create guilt....

The keys to growth lie in those relationships and situations

that give us the most discomfort.

Freedom comes

when we overcome these self-created barriers." 3

"All adversities are here to help you.

They can become instruments of your progress."

Swami Veda Bharati

Swami Veda

"Be a traveler in the inner world, do some 'insightseeing'."

"May Sun and Moon become your brother and sister also."6

"May gods become your personal friends."6

"May all obstacles become your stepping stones."6

Swami Veda

"May God's hand continue to sculpt your heart

into most beautiful and ever-new forms."6

"May you live by ideals alone."6
